1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Amplir Limited, a company registered in Northern Ireland (Company Number: NI730704). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.

Amplir provides AI-powered legal research and case law search services ("Service") through our web platform. Our Service includes:
- Semantic search through UK legal cases and precedents
- AI-powered legal research assistance
- Case law analysis and recommendations
- Legal document processing and insights
Important: Our Service is a research tool only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To use our Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Our Service operates on a subscription basis with different tiers available. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees as described in our pricing
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Price changes with 30 days' notice
- No refunds for partial months (except as required by law)
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. VAT will be added where applicable.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated tools to scrape or download content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Amplir Limited and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Legal cases and judgments are in the public domain. Our AI analysis, search algorithms, and platform features are proprietary to Amplir Limited.
You retain ownership of any content you submit but grant us a license to process it for service provision.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, except where prohibited by law.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can cancel your subscription through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease immediately
- We may delete your account data after 30 days
- These Terms will continue to apply to past use
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.

10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
